Buena Vista

We saved the best part of a chilly afternoon in San Francisco for last. An Irish coffee at the Buena Vista.

San Francisco

On a day trip to San Francisco we practiced using revolving doors and made our way through Chinatown crowds. We snacked at a bistro and rested in a park full of Redwood trees in the middle of the city.

Nathan and Dutch

Many months have passed since I have seen Nathan but in a matter of minutes we took up where we left off. :)

Little Balboa Island

Sunday we found a different section of Balboa to do a walk. It is called Little Balboa, there is water, boats, homes, a safe place to do a straight run, cement and wooden piers and a tiny beach so I can get in some water time. Life is good. Oh, I can see I need to get a GDA jacket instead of the bib.

Losing teeth

I have been teething for a couple of months now, but today I hit the jackpot. Virtue came over to help me loosen my canine teeth. With a little tugging by me on her nice neck both teeth came out. Virtue is a true friend, I am going to miss her when she goes in for training November 1. Hope the tooth fairy can find her way into my kennel.

Balboa Island

Virtue came over for a beach day today. We had such a great time playing in the sand and surf. A animal control officer came by while we were playing in the water, after checking our tags he said we were an exception and could play in the water all we wanted. It is cool to be a guide dog in training!
